He did make an impression, and that is if you screw up and it's not something horrible that you did, he will discuss the punishment with his team and then decide, AS A TEAM. I, and everyone else here, respect that. I think it was a great decision. So you can take that failed miserably bulls*** and GTFO

I wonder if the school didn't have this policy, where would CMR stand on this issue.

You're just mad, since Richt is the new Fulmer. I don't blame you, I'd be looking outside my school too pointing fingers or whatever, in order to rationalize keeping him.

CDD did what he thought best for the kid, and given we don't know the exact circumstances surrounding the incident, I'll trust him to do what he feels is appropriate.

One incident doesn't make it "incidents". You also have NO idea what CDD did behind closed doors. Stop trying to make up things to make your failure of a case supposedly look better.

Were you there? Do you know DMylesJr? Do you know dooley? How about Dmyles study patterns? Or gpa? How about the facts of the incident? Do you know the cop? How about the DA? The Lawyer? DM roomates? His tutors? Parents? Work ethic? Decision making? NO. The same example could be negative if you crucify a kid who doesn't deserve it. What's that say to the kids? Huh? Yeh......STFU and GTFOutaheeya!

BTW, you just got a commitment from a QB that is probably light-years better than Zach, and I would also probably be safe to assume that this wasn't Zach's first run in with the law or team discipline. Please at least come armed with some facts before you start running your mouth about a situation you obviously don't fully understand yourself.

???? your confused.... Mett was originally suspended for the alcohol...(1 game) however he lied to Richt.....when all the facts came to light concerning the sexual harrassment.........Zack got the boot....

give me a break........in the past month CMR has kicked 3 players off the team and suspended another indifinitely....two of which were promising athletes. I'm not mad just questioning DD's actions..or non actions in this case. What is it about knoxville that makes EVERY coach there totally forget about discipline?

If you think that a coach kicking players off of his team somehow makes him a better coach, then your completely lost. There is a TON of discipline that the average fan will never see in the public eye of a program, and I will say that I'm sure that you have more kids in trouble than you know about on your own team. Go back to your boards and congregate amongst yourselves, because it makes ZERO sense to come point out possible shortcomings of a program you don't follow, yet not understand your own.

GTFO. There are teams that can call us out on dicipline, but UGA certainly isn't one of those teams. Your team is always right up there with us or ahead of us in arrests. Myles' incident is a misdemeanor and if it had occured during the season, he would have missed a game. Anybody with a brain can realize that we are 5 months away from the start of the season, doesn't it make sense to punish him now rather than later?

Richt kicked those kids off the team because they were involved in FELONIES, it doesn't make him a diciplinarian by any means.

Because Kiffy definitely didn't kick anyone off the team. Guys get kicked off the team and it's because of poor discipline that it got to that point. Guys don't get suspended and it's poor discipline because they should set an example. Which way do you want it?

Myles has been punished-per Dooley. I don't know that Myles actually did anything to deserve a suspension. Does anyone here actually KNOW he did anything besides consume alcohol?

neither robinson or mettenberger were charged with felonies.....do some research.

oh, speaking of felonies, i can't recall the last time a Ga athlete committed an armed robbery.

How can a Dawg fan come here and argue discipline? As of June, 2009, and since 2005 UGA has had 30 arrests (more so than Florida when everyone was ragging us for 23 during that same time frame). How many have been arrested since June? Do you realize that's over 1/3 of the team? I'd like to hear this dawgs spin on this stat and how it relates to CMRs discipline. IMO, Florida and Georgia fans have no authority to discuss discipline and criticize another team due to our teams.
