Myles was one of the guys I was most excited about coming in but I havent really heard any buzz about him. I know our secondary is deep but I still thought he had a chance to push for playing time at free safety this year...If Jackson ends up there what position does Myles eventually end up at? Strong Safety is the obvious answer but could he be another Adam Myers White and make a move to LB with some added weight?

He looks about like an LB out there.

I'm pretty sure they had him playing SS in the scrimmage though.

SS at the scrimmage. He looks huge out there. I cant wait to seehow big he is in a couple years.

what i have heard all of fall camp he is backing up eric berry so he could be in the game when eric is at nickel and if berry goes into the draft he probably steps right in berry's place which will be very tough shoes to fill.

Slightly off topic. Does anyone know if his dad has ever worked as a christian inspirational speaker? When I was in college at MTSU I remember a former Chargers cornerback came and spoke at MTSU. He was quite good and I was thinking his name was Darren Myles.

If Myles is that big I wonder if there's any possibility of him moving to linebacker in the MIKE position. The MLB has to be great in coverage in Monte's system so a former safety would be perfect (assuming he can play the run).

I always thought he might end up at LB, but everyone keeps saying he will stay at SS. I guess if he keeps his speed/quickness he could do well there after Berry leaves. Taylor Mays is a pretty big guy and he plays SS.

I'm thinking he'll just be a big safety. A lot of us are just used to Chavis moving big safeties to LB. That won't happen with this staff. Also while I'm on Chavis why did he move Harry Coleman to LB from S? Idiot move to me he and Chad Jones would have been just filthy at safety.

Yeah I agree..If we had signed Kenny Phillips, Chavis would have moved him to Linebacker. I love a big free safety that can roam but also make receivers timid when they line up.

I've seen him in the scrimmage and he's definitely not afraid to hit someone. He really sticks his nose in there and will pop ball carriers. I hope he stays at safety, kind of reminds me of Gibril Wilson.

I think he'll move into Berry's spot and Jackson will move to CB or FS depending on what Rogan does. I don't know if anyone elese noticed but during the scrimmage Rogan was playing the FS spot while Berry was moving all over the field.
