that'd be awesome.. very young but they would grow a ton.

Rogan could be All-SEC next year IMO

I don't think there is a deadline. I think he can stay in school as long as he doesn't talk to any agents.

P.S. I think he will go pro I was just throwing it out there because you never know.

No there will be a date in April not sure what it is, but he will have to pull out by then or lose his eligibility. See Donte Stallworth, and then situations like Ernest Shazor and Dee Webb or weren't drafted and couldn't return.

If we can get Demetrius Wright heres how i see our secondary next year...
1st string-FS Ahmad Dixon, SS Darren myles JR, CB Dennis Rogan, CB Janzen Jackson.
2nd string- FS Ted meline, SS Demterius Wright, CB Marcques Dixon, CB Eric Gordon.
What do you guys think?

You can't seriously think this is true. So Art Evans, and Anthony Anderson among others are gonna what??? quit

JJ is much better at safety where he can make plays all over the field and I've not been the least bit impressed with what I've seen from Waggner so far but it does look like his the man to beat currently. Waggner got benched during the Ole Miss game in favor of Tyler Wolf who was the 2nd string FS so don't be surprised if he comes into the mix as well only for the mere fact that I don't think we have anyone to beat either of those guys out. It'll definitely be a weak spot unless we bring in a big recruit there that can play right away. At corner I expect Art Evans and Dennis Rogan if he returns. My guess right now would be it would look something like:
CB - Art Evans
CB - Dennis Rogan
FS - Waggner
SS - Janzen Jackson

I don't recall him committing to any school besides Baylor and UT. Link to him committing to another school at some point?

Waggner was the one who was benched not Myles. Myles has been injured much of the year. I think you have the two confused. I was at the Ole Miss game. Yes Wolfe was brought in but it was Waggner that he was replacing. Wolfe was even worse so they put Waggner back in. Myles is in no way a FS he is a SS or OLB.

Myles only played significant minutes in Memphis game. I think it was his shoulder that kept him out but not sure the rest of the year. He did not enter Ole Miss game.

via ESPN:

A four-star prospect, safety Ahmad Dixon has pledged to Tennessee after decommitting from the Bears.

The defensive back also considered Alabama and Auburn.

Dixon has now made his third commitment for the Class of 2010. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound standout had pledged to Texas before switching to Baylor.

He also had early offers from LSU, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Florida and TCU.

The issue is can anyone other then Jackson play FS well...no one other then Rogan on our current roster is capable of it. Dorsey is a guy I think we want real bad. Dixon, Myles and Wright all project as possible SSs. Wright can play CB as well. Dixon may be able to play FS but we will not know until he is here and coaches evaluate. Meline may be able to play FS as well. I just hated watching that Ole Miss game me and my buddy commented over and over on how horrible the guys at FS were. Waggner is slooooooowww. His angles are awful as well. Rogan staying might be the difference between a loss or two at this point.

You are right. I stand corrected, I was mixing the two up.

This is a tough call. I think the decision will be made this Fall when Dixon gets up to speed. If he can grasp the D I think JJ would absolutely tear it up @ CB. Good problem to have IMO.

I think someone on here said that Kiffin mentioned JJ is a corner but they had to play him at FS b/c of depth

If Rogan stays then there will be more depth at corner than at Safety. Can't bank on moving Jackson to corner and having Myles, Waggner, and Dixon play the 2 safety spots, no way.

If Rogan Stays
CB - Dennis Rogan/Eric Gordon
CB- Art Evans/A. Anderson
FS- JJ/ P. Waggner
SS- D. Myles Jr./ A. Dixon
If Rogan Goes
CB- Janzen Jackson/Eric Gordon
CB- Art Evans/A. Anderson
FS-P. Waggner/A. Dixon Chance Dixon would win this job early on
SS-D. Myles Jr/A. Dixon
