Kinda off topic, but I was wondering do the football players and basketball players not hang out during their off time? Or do any sports hang out with the other sports or do they just stick together? Just curious.

Also, with respect to recruiting. I would not have allowed my son to be around Kiffin and that band of rogues he had surrounded himself with but Coach Dooley is the kind of man I would want around my son in my absence. Kiffin leaving was the best thing that could have happened to y'alls program for the long term.

I think the biggest reason Rogers was arrested was bc he ran from the police and was caught. From what I've heard, they saw the security tape from the fight and he was trying to break it up.. I could be wrong but that's why I heard he was released with no charges.

I want to know how the KPD chased these guys down? 90 percent of them are over weight, no way they just ran them down

Well I just hate to see this happen to y'alls program but it is just part of taking out the trash.

Don't get me wrong, I love alabama and hate to lose to Tennessee but I have a lot of respect for Tennessee football and what y'alls program means to the SEC.

Honestly I am tired of all the hate I have seen between Alabama and Tennessee over the last decade or so since the sanctions. Having a rivalry is ok and it makes it fun but down right hating each other is ridiculous. I gave a friend my tickets to the game this year because I am so sick of it. I have good seats and he said that he saw three fights in that one section where people had to be removed from the stadium and that is asinine.

I think that since coach Saban and his family are so close to the Dooley's that we have a great chance to restore some class and respect between these two storied programs and that is what I would like to see.

Coach Bryant and the General use to get together the night before the game and play poker and drink whiskey and I think that is class and respect for each other.

Anyway, I hope Coach Dooley does well and I hate to see y'all go through this but I think it is just part of getting it corrected and I think Coach Dooley did the right thing even though I hate it for the kid that got kicked off the team.

unless something happened in last hour, charges against Rogers have not been dropped. he posted bail and was released as was Myers after posting bail
