Price mentioned something about him returning for spring practice and then reevaluating his decision

"The Vols' sophomore offensive lineman, who's a former five-star prospect, posted Sunday night on his Twitter account that he will reveal his plans for 2021 in an Instagram post.

"Follow @304wave on Instagram if you want to know where I'll be playing this year :)," Wright tweeted. "posting tomorrow.

The 6-foot-6, 330-pound Wright has yet to add his name to the NCAA transfer portal. But several former highly ranked prospects on Tennessee's roster recently have entered the transfer portal, and UT's online student directory shows Wright as having "left UT" on Friday."

If Wright leaves we will be left with practically nothing from Beldar's tenure, he was truly our worst coach.
We'll miss him so very much. These kids are so damned full of themselves. He's announcing notification of his announcment? Seriously? Clearly we need guys who relish playing football games vs those who live to play social media games. That's part of our problem. Damned playstation culture.

Remember 2020 status is same for 2021

LT - Cade Mays 6'6 320 Jr
LG - J Spraggins 6'3 315 Fr
C- Cooper Mays 6'3 295 Fr
RG - J Carvin 6'5 310 Jr
RT- K Calbert 6'5 330 Jr

Not a bad starting lineup but man we're thin.
Lost:
Smith
Kennedy
Wright
Morris
Johnson...yikes
And FRIEND (good thing)
At least we don’t have to start 2 lineman at 265LBS yet. Guess it could be worse.

These guys just can't get past those glory days when they were being recruited. Missing all that attention they were getting then, so they try and create some more.

Maybe he is hoping for a side of fries to go with the happy meal he got earlier? :p

At this point, I don't care who goes. If you don't want to try to build something here then kick rocks. I would rather lose with players that give their all than win with some "all about me" players. JMO

As many times that these big 5 star recruits let defensive linemen sack our QBs .... I won't be missing any of'em if they decide to leave & play else where. I'm disappointed they didn't live up to all the hype they were given in HS. If he wants to play else where with a team & thinks he'll be better at another school that he left TN for then ........

Neither appeared, after 2seasons, dedicated enough to develop themselves into top players. That may change at a new program
Again, look at their offensive blocking ratings. They were highly rated, but neither produced as expected. This could be because of their coaching, their attitude, or not having the S&C coaching they needed. We also have to remember, 2020 was the throw away COVID year. I think a lot of Freshmen and Sophomores around the Nation had COVID related difficulties last year.

What are the odds that a school could recruit two 5 star recruits in the same year at the same position and neither one of them gets past their 2nd year before they both wash out?

To be fair an OLineman will probably never get any more attention in their lives after being recruited.
