I believe this is the second year for the policemen. I think there are problems in all high schools, I guess the parents and board members weren't happy with the kids conducts and thought hiring officers would help.

They couldnt do that when I was in school a year ago. It was either they had to see it or hear it. I could have it in my pocket all day long

They search all your stuff now. They check your bags and wand you down with a metal detector. They search for anything not allowed.

my son never takes his cell phone to school, i dont know why. My niece teaches at a high school and has caught several kids cheating on cell phones.
