Dark Souls II

I want to get into these games, but confusion. Dark Souls 2? I was under the impression that Dark Souls is a sequal to Demon Souls? Is that correct? I kind of need to know if I need to play Demon Souls in order to play Dark Souls.

It's not a sequel. The style of play is almost exact, but their different enough to have their own feel. I'd still play Demons Souls. It's a fantastic game. These games don't have much of a story, but make up for in grueling gameplay.

na its not a sequel.. Dark Souls is more of spiritual successor.. they have pretty much the same gameplay though, i would def play both
