Hunter being hurt meant opposing defenses just had to focus in on Rogers which meant double teams on Rogers. And you don't think he's that good? You clearly know nothing.

Everyone entitled to their own opinion but yours is wrong. For 5 games he was the only consistant reciever on a team with no running game and a qb that twice has been benched for a true freshman. These were against some of the best Ds in the country and he still put up numbers. Made honey badger, a heisman finalist, look like a middle school safety while drawing double and even triple coverage.

D cordinators next season will double up da'rick, and take thir chances one on one with hunter. Which is good for us b/c hunters man won't have that extra help over the top and da'rick is big enough and physical enough to take on the doubles.

what ? I never said anything like that.the poster I replied back to said said Rogers had better numbers before Hunter got hurt which wasnt true and thats a fact.Do the math 16/302 vs 15/200 and then tell me who had the better avg.

Anybody's opinion changed after UT landing Cordarrelle Patterson?

I don't think it will matter. Da'Rick's touches might go down a little next season because of a healthy Hunter and the addition of Patterson, but IMO this also is a good thing for him.

His catches might go down, but the quality of catch will be much better. By "better quality of catch", I mean that Da'Rick should be open much more often and be in much better space when he catches the ball due so much attention also having to be paid to Patterson and especially Hunter. I would expect much better yards after catch (YAC) and yards per catch (YPC) out of Da'Rick next season.

So, IMO, Da'Rick is gone anyway. And it would be the right choice. He has earned it.

Da'Rick is putting up huge numbers next season. He knows it is his time to earn his money. He won't disappoint.
