Da'rick?

Some of you guys amaze me. Yep, the cops have it out for us, they put a gun to our football players heads and made them beat a guy up. Are you insane or just stupid?

BTW, to kick a guy (any guy, but a cop???) while he is already on the ground is a thug move.

As for Darick, the (lady) at the bar said the cops have the two in custody that caused the most trouble, fwiw. The BAR needs to be closed because they have just also admitted to serving alcohol to minors.

BTW, they also get a big thank you for telling the world that they are giving special treatment to our players, thank you for the NCAA violation.
At that point Myles, Rogers, Moore and Hughes were in handcuffs with Moore and Hughes being released without an arrest. So you don't know which 2 she was talking about. The 2 that most would concur with are Myles and Hughes although his lawyer is stating that someone struck him first.

I stopped watching the NBA a long time ago because of the thuggery and self aggrandizing. Some say it is better now, but I don't know because I don't watch it anymore. I was a big Hawks fan at one time with Dominique and those guys. The NFL is getting close with all of the crap that goes on there, although I am not done with them as of yet. I really hate to see the team I love get a bunch of thugs, idiots or whatever and I feel like I have to support them to the hilt. I don't believe these types are the majority and most are really good men, but if the rest of the team support these jackasses, I am beginning to have my doubts. I will wait until the facts come out to make my own judgment, I believe in second chances and all, but I don't care if some are 10 star athletes I would not object to them be kicked out for good and start over. I know a lot of people don't agree with me about this, but I stopped paying my hard earned money and time to see the NBA and hope my Vols don't turn into the same.

Learn the details first Johnny Jumpsthegun. If reports that Rogers attempted to break up the fight and simply failed to shut up and leave when cops told him then that qualifies as stupidity, but would not necessarily warrant dismissal or suspension in my opinion. However, if he was more significantly involved I definitely think you suspend him indefinitely as Dooley has already done with King and Walls.

Fact, Dooley took Roger's on the Big Orange Club tour. Rogers was in the mix. Was supposed to be a choir boy. Dooley's going easy on his signature recruit. Anybody else gets a suspension at least.

Dooley knows more about the facts of this situation than all the members on this board put together. If he thinks what DaRick done should be handled by internal punishment, then I trust him. He just kicked one of our best young defenders to the curb.....he isnt playing favorites.

Do you have a link that says he took him on the tour? My understanding is that Mr. Nance took Da'Rick and Nash to the BOC stop in Chattanooga.

It was a bar brawl. Whatever the individual excuse, Dooley should suspend them all for awhile for being fools... including Rogers. Better for the team to do it that way. Let the lawyers, cops, and judges sort the rest out.

Maybe you should call CDD and tell him how he should handle this situation

Wow! Move on from to obvious(sp). He tensed up? I wonder what directional controls are, anybody? I remember when I was in school up there in the late 70's, KPD arrested over 800 people on friday night and 700 on Saturday night before an Alabama game. There were all kinds of stories in the Beacon the next week from Graduate students that never used alcohol being arrested for Public Drunkiness,ect... We sat on a wall by the Last Lap and watched the cops grabbing people and stuffing them in paddy wagons without them having time to say or do anything. It's much calmer down there since the drinking age was raised to 21,but kids will be kids, punish and move on. If anyone in Knoxville ever visits Bar Nashville again they should be shot for treason. That dump needs to be shut down forever it's the nastiest bar in Knoxville!!! They were using our kids to draw crowds for their own gain and now the University and fanbase will be punished for their greedy behavior. GO VOLS!!!!

Bar Nashville has been shut down for several years now... no worries.

Totally agree! Have you been to an NBA game lately?!? It's a complete circus! I went to a Hawks game only because my friend has a party suite. They had everything but elephants (and defense). You can go to a housing project and see the same type game and players.

More than likely, KPD dislikes the thugs that are part of the program.

KPD hates college kids in general. They would rather give out a million underage consumptions than do one hour of actual police work, you know protecting people. There's a reason why the Fort is a ****hole. You have a cop car stationed throughout the area, but they can't manage to stop one actual violent crime or even care about it. I speak from experience.

And as for the thugs that kicked a man while he was down, they are much worse than the KPD. I personally hate them all.

100% correct about the KPD.

They hang out on the Strip to bust college kids for anything (including making up a fake game of tag as I posted earlier in the thread) and let people get stabbed, mugged, and robbed in the Fort.

I was at a UGA tennis camp last week and one of the players there said he was a classmate in hs with Da'Rick. He said he was kicked out a lot, once for punching his teacher.

Eh, I wouldn't believe that story had I not talked to someone today with close ties to the program. He told me that his source said it would be amazing if Da'Rick made it a year without getting kicked off the team. I found that to be a shocker of a statement, but again this person has close ties and has filled me in on several things about the program.
