there's a difference on tweeting a player and being negative and posting on a message board and being negative.

i'm sure a couple rednecks have talked **** on his twitter.

Bwahahaha can't wait to hear him if he makes it to the NFL. He will flame out spectacularly with his attitude of late.

I think it's great he's trying to be positive. I don't feel very positive right now, and he just played on the team that lost to Kentucky for the first time in more than a quarter of a century and will now miss going to a bowl game.

im sorry da'rick but we have every right in the world to be negative. We just lost to KENTUCKY! A 26 year streak blown because of terrible play calling and execution.

You know... Chris Johnson did the same sh1t in the offseason. Hating on the fans for being tough on him and now? Now he's just an overpaid bum. Funny how that works.

I am a fan. No excuse for such poor play. I am negative about it. Totally. Pretty simple.

I have a feeling that when he says "don't be negative", he's not talking about hating the result and it's code for don't send me stupid stuff on Twitter and Facebook.

Da'Rick needs to spend less time tweeting and more time catching the ball to get a first down that actually might change the outcome of the game.

Yeah. It's all sunshine and rainbows. If you're a player then grow a set and ignore it. Not everyone is going to tell you what you want to hear, Mr. Rogers.

Agreed Da'Rick. You are working your ass off while all these 'fans' are sitting on their fat asses calling for heads to roll. Great season #21. Can't wait for kick off in 2012

Putting emphasis on "fan," I understand, but he needs to step away from Twitter

I think that's good advice for all the players right now. People are going to read stuff into everything right now and nothing good can come of it.

Glad he understands we just lost the only bragging rights we had left. Da'Rick did you give your all for tennessee today? We still love you but lets be honest here.

If you're going to go the insult comedy route . . . make it funny next time.

Insult comedy? Nah - FACT.

As a fan and alum I reserve the right to be negative about any aspect of the University or it's athletic programs. Period.
