Da'rick Rogers

No one is denying that he isn't an outstanding reciever. Anquan Boldin was an outstanding reciever in college too, but he didn't get drafted in the first round. He may go in the first round, no one can tell right now, but I dont feel he is a first rounder. Elite players get drafted in the second round too.

Boldin ran a bad 40 if I'm not mistaken. I dont expect Rogers to tear up the 40 but
I think it will be solid (4.5ish). I think he will almost certainly go in the 1st.

Ok mr. Curious. Play fantasy football? I don't, but as a reference they pick individual offensive skill players and entire defensive units. Get it now, why I say meaningless stat piler?

So who is going to be on more fantasy football teams, you..... or Da'Rick?

USC game is made for guys that you are proposing DR to be. Lattimore out, both starting QBs out, Hunter out. Low scoring, few big plays make the difference.

You're making it seem like he doesn't make big plays. But you can only judge that off a very VERY small sample due to our poor QB play.

I can't think of another game where he didn't convert on an opportunity at a big play. He would've scored an 80 yrd TD against Arky if ZR would've just gotten out of the way. He was definitely out running those guys before he had to slow down bc of ZR. He had trouble adjusting to life without Hunter against Georgia (#3 D in the SEC), had solid games against LSU and Alabama with Simms at QB.

I'm really just trying to find out why you think he isn't a big time WR? You're basing him off of one (big, but it was still the first half) pass against SC. Or at least thats what I'm getting from you...

My point to that quote from Mel is he compared Da'Rick to Woods whom is a high 1st round pick on some 2013 mock boards.

I really don't think you can compare any reciever to Robert Woods. Hunter is probably the only possibility. Woods single handily won games for USC last year. He makes everyone around him a lot better. Darick doesn't do that. That is still high praise coming from Kiper though. I guess we will just have to wait and see next year.

Where have I proposed that DR is anything??

I don't think he has the mentality to be the number 1 guy. I think he gets just as much satisfaction out of catching some 25 yard in and talking smack to the honey badger about it as he does out of winning. There are few chances in a season to really put the hammer down in meaningful situations as a single player. He really blew one.

And this shows he doesnt pile up stats in meaningless losses how. Like I said. Come back when you can put together an effort worth reading.

I don't call putting up over 1,000 yds receiving in the SEC with your only other decent WR target going down 2 games in meaningless. So Alltool, keep cliniging to your weak argument if you must, but keep in mind with every post you sound more and more like someone who watches more Project Runway than football.....imo

Read more slowly this time. Come back when you have facts showing he was more than just some stat piler in losing situations. What the eff is Project Runway?

My point is he is no bona fide star. He piles up stats in games that we lose. Did I say it was his fault?

Again, he had one huge shot against USC, and he blew it. He is what he is. It will make him a lot of money. It is ok.

You mad Da'Rick posed with your GF?

You gotta stop saying he's a "meaningless stat piler." They aren't meaningless stats. He did his part to try and put us in positions to win games. He did BEYOND enough individually for us to win. Its not his fault that the rest of the team couldn't do anything to help him.

..Maybe this explains why he was so mad this year?? He was CARRYING THE OFFENSE on his back, yet he gets a bad rep from guys like you bc it didn't give us enough Ws.
smh
