Can anyone find a pic from the UGA game where DaRick was standing over top the defender as he was struggling to get up. Crowells dad is posting the hit all over Scout but refuses to show the after effect where the UGA player was struggling to get up. Thanks

Unnecessary post is unnecessary.

I was curious about the picture he was talking about. Had to go look it up. Saving other people the time.

Yeah, it sucked, but it's over...

Is that the one where he held on to the ball and got a first down, on 4th?

Yea, there are probably 50 things GA fan could show from that game. That one isn't one.

Happens every game....some DB thinks their going to deliver a "big hit" on the DaFreak then struggles to their feet and wobbles around.

He is going to be a difference maker sometime here. He has shown he has no fear in getting hit. And the best part is he seems to hold onto the ball and just shrug it off like nothing happened. My buddies who are UGA fans were amazed that he held onto the ball. That was a solid hit.

When they can't double team him next year, i'd hate to be some of these DB's that are trying to make a highlight reel out of him right now.

Branden Smith is a brave man for taking on Da'Rick like that, Rogers easily outweighs him by 50+ lbs. It was a huge hit but gotta give credit to Rogers for holding on. Smith admits he got banged up a bit and had to come out for 1 play because of it. What else would you expect when you go up against a guy with Da'Ricks size.

I heard this picture made it to the Knox News front page.

This happened right in front of me. Da'rick got up and started barking at the Cornerback as he slowly got up, holding his shoulder and wobbled to the sidelines. Da'rick is tough for sure.

Yeah....that's the point...Smith got his butt wasted on that play while Da'rick held the ball, got up immediately, and stood over the guy saying "Is that all you got???!!!!" while Smith hobbled over to the sideline like a whipped puppy!!! :salute:

What's your point? :p

Of course Da'Rick would get back up. Rogers outweighs him by 50+ lbs easily. I'm surprised Smith was able to put him on his azz and knock his mouthpiece out to be honest with you. It might have been a different story if one of our other boys had the opportunity to take that kind of a shot at him.

At the end of the day, this is football and big hits happen all the time. Rogers looks like a beast though, very impressive looking. (no homo)

My point is simply that the picture evidently being shown all over the UGA board (I've never been on their site) in an attempt to display pain on Da'Rick--a hated man in Georgia for going to the Vols--misrepresents what actually happened--that the GA player is the one who suffered the most....

I live in Cleveland--only about 45 mins away from Calhoun--and know the GA homers want to do anything to picture Da'Rick getting hammered....And it was a good hit--but the GA guy was the one who took the punishment--not Da'Rick! :salute:

Its football man. Big hits always happen and it will happen to somebody on your team too.

I've watched football before. I know big hits happen.

You didn't address anything I said. Why is a db brave for hitting a defenseless receiver?

It doesn't make sense. Not to mention the db couldn't even get up. :eek:lol:

There's plenty of fans that are enjoying this picture, especially when you consider the documented drama between UGA and Rogers. It was a big hit but I don't care about anything like that, its the W that matters to me.
