The smoke for this came from georgia fans pissed he switched to us saying they didnt care anyways because he wouldnt qualify. So some of the chicken little posters on here and VQ/TOS started saying he wouldnt qualify. I have my feelings about the clearinghouse and their track record with our kids. I believe he will be ok. B Hubbs says everyone is on course to make it as long as they work hard til the end.

Where else is he going to go once he qualifies?

And yes...we'd be fine without him...but you can't deny we'd be better off with a Calvin Johnson clone than we would be without

Thats obviously what i meant. and to say he is a calvin johnson clone is laughable. why because his high school team was called the yellow jackets? he played at the second lowest level of georgia HS football. we wont know how good he is til hes here.

makes sense to me. If he goes to prep then he's not qualified. After a year there he would be qualified to play college ball and we would want him to come "back" to UT

Because paid professionals at Rivals have compared him to Johnson coming out of highschool...

Extremely similar size, speed, athleticism, ball skills....it's not laughable at all

"As long as he comes here once he qualifies" implies he could go somewhere else after gaining eligibility...not that he might not qualify and have to go to prep school...

If that's what you meant then you worded it very poorly

Well that definitely makes more sense...I wasn't even considering the prep school angle...

But I have faith that he make it in...I've heard rumors that he has the test score and he just needs to make a few decent grades in a few classes he's in now to qualify

If rivals thought he was a clone of calvin johnson they would have made him the number 1 reciever. just because someone compares a player to another doesnt mean they are saying they are both the exact same

Da'Rick isn't like any other player. He is who he is, and in a few years Rivals will be writing "Player X is an exact clone of Da'Rick Rogers".

Oh...how stupid of mean to not realize that Rivals didn't mean he was actually an exact DNA clone of Calvin Johnson...
