Da'Rick Rogers at O&W Game

It's not the seeing them, it's them being there drinking. I could see them being drunk, they could have drank before. But not drinking.

I would hope that a bar on campus would be a little more strict. I know if I owned a bar and one of the bartenders was serving someone they knew was underage, big name football player or not, I would fire that employee. Definitely not worth losing your license.

Sorry, kind of went on a tangent there.

I'm an old fart but we ALL drank at 18 in Knoxville on the Strip. It's what kept some bars in business....

See, you can learn something every day. Might be the way the camera caught him at that specific moment but he looks a little nerdy to be a college qb.... :p

Mr Rogers has not yet qualified to attend college. He doesn't have the core or the score. Prep school is starting to become a real probability.

I'm sure the good ppl at Calhoun will do everything in their power to help him get eligible for the rival school.....

Don't you think that if grades were still as huge an issue as they were this time a year ago that he wouldn't have had every school in the south jumping up and down for his signature on NSD?????

Lol.

I tend to stay indoors when I drink. I'm underage and do not want to get arrested for that....

Only one and a half more years!

It was a very big concern within the staff @ UGA. With 5-star athletes schools will not back off in hopes to sign, place, then resign a big-time prospect. Tell you what..........get back to me when he qualifies.

After reading your posts over the last few weeks I'm certain you have exactly zero facts to back this statement up...

I have no doubt you want this to happen and you need to tell yourself that this is why UGA didn't sign Rogers but regardless...that doesn't make it so...and the facts are that people close to him are reporting he's on track to qualify

Any word on some of our recruits eligibility? I remember reading concerns about Da'Rick Rogers, Eddrick Loften and John Brown

Wes Rucker:
I've spoken with people close to all three of those kids in the past week, and all three say the player is "on track" to being at UT this summer. We'll see what happens, but Loften and Rogers have made big, big strides academically since signing day.

I dont know how credible this all is but that sounds like good news to me.

I dont know what I like more about Da'rick, the fact that I saw him play in high school and know hes a local kid, or the fact that hes a freak who is gonna dominate te SEC. I would say its probably the second haha.

this sounds all too familiar
1. we didn't want him anyways
2. he won't qualify

Superdawg failed. Rogers received a qualifying ACT score so if he stays on track according to his coach this semester he WILL qualify. Once again the UGA folks are wrong and it starts with the coaches. If I were a Dawg I would worry about my own problems.

besides heresay do you have any other factual info that might back that statement up? I for one hopes he makes the grade and is on the field come Oct 9th......but as of "today" Rogers has not achieved a qualifing score on the ACT or the SAT. What he's on track for is prep school......... nevertheless, it will not surprise anyone that he slips in at UT.
