DaRick is not off of the team yet!!

Dooley said he doesnt expect him to play this year...from his mouth to your ear..

Just heard that too from the press conference, that is not good. This makes me think he will be leaving the team. :furious3::banghead2:

I'll say it. He's Dooley's guy. He flipped his UGA commit after Dooley recruited his HS QB in Nash Nance to UT. Kiffin didn't have anything to do with getting Da'rick to Tennessee.

I agree he's Dooley's guy, but your timeline is awful.

Here's my prediction on what is going to happen.

1. The school Admin., Hart & CDD will lay out a plan for what Rogers has to do to be back on the team.

2. Rogers will not want to follow said plan and will transfer to a FCS school so he can play this season.

3. He will go in the late 1st or early 2nd round of next years NFL draft due to his "attitude" and cost himself several millions of dollars.

4. He will be the next Chad Johnson

I don't think that there is any way he could be a 1st rounder if he plays at an FCS school next year.

Michael Dyer, Isahia Crowell, Tyrion Matheiu, Greg Reid, and now Da'Rick Rogers. The 2012 SEC all-suspended team is stacked.

CP is not bigger and stronger then Da'Rick and what does that even matter? I would rather have both of them myself. Life goes on but lets not pretend this isn't another huge hit to our program from a talent stand point anyway.

"CP is big, and he's really fast...and he can do things me and DaRick cant do." J Hunter

Big loss no doubt, but we will survive.

Just to shed light on a different perspective to all of you who say that Da'Rick "makes our program weaker".

What were you all saying 2 days ago? He had problems in the past, so you can't say this is his first run-in with disciplinary action, yet you defended him up until this morning. But now that another "violation of team rules" has come out, he's all of a sudden a plague to the team? If you're going to criticize, at least be consistent.

And I HIGHLY doubt just because a player has "violated team rules" on multiple occasions that most of you would call them a plague to the team. Would you consider Tyrann Mathieu cancerous to LSU? Hell no. He single-handedly won them 2 games last season and was a MAJOR reason for several other wins.

I understand that the kid had attitude issues. But with a lot of kids, that comes with the talent. But I know for a fact his teammates loved him. His coaches loved him (despite his hard hard-headedness). And he was 1st round NFL talent. Detriment to the team? I think not.

Good post. Are you a fraternity man?

He's gone. Three strikes and you're out. GREAT player but he's toxic. Glimpses of another TO and Chad Johnson IMO.

Hate to say it, but this ^...

If there was a realistic chance that Rogers would be back, Dooley would not have said what he said...the way he said it.

Rogers is gone.

Go Vols.

I care what he did and we should know. If I am paying money to help support his education and he squanders my money it's a bad investment like some shares in the stock market.

WTF? Are you really that stupid? An investment is what you make to make a profit. A donation is what you give to the university to do with as they please. Sorry you aren't on the "need to know" list. If you think this is an investment, I will have the IRS talk to you soon about writing it off.

Kiffin had already offered both Nance and Rogers. Fact!

I thought we were talking about who got him to sign a LOI. We offer a ton of kids every year. Rogers would not have came to Knoxville with Kiffin at the helm. Fact!(Not that me typing this with an exclamation mark makes it the case)

Headed to Arkansas State....

If they were making Dyer sit , Rogers will have to sit too. He might want to change that #Lambogrind to a #79Pintogrind at this point. I hate that we lost him , but his NFL chances aren't looking real good at the moment.
