You guys do know Da'Rick visits this site frequently?

Hey Da'Rick,

The state of GA still loves you and cares about you. Good luck man.

Well hopefully he understands that a lot of people on here are morons and they prob have never put on pads or went out for a pass. Their just mad bc we arent winning and they have nothing better to do than blame people like a 10 year old....This guy was being prasied after the LSU game bc he made #7 look like a bit**. But not now..he is horrible and all he is good for is talking junk???..people just have to blame other people for their issues.

You guys are ridiculous. Sure he shoulda caught the ball but I'm sure no one feels wore than he does.
I am convinced most nega posters are immature college kids who don't have a clue about how much effort Da'Rick and the team spends working to get better. Hang i ther DR--we know things will get better.

So why not apply this same logic to Coach Dooley? He is trying his hardest with what he has, but still people want to give him the boot.

Most of the people that start these threads are trolls anyway. Nothing we can do. OP only has 24 or so posts and can start a thread. Go figure. But, the site I suppose makes money off the hits it gets. Is all about the money.

I'm not

Just some people with girly feelings is all

I think he is a helluva player that does make a mistake or two, buts that ok. He and the others knew what they are getting into with all the crap that happened to this football team over the past few years. For that, they are even better people in my mind. This is a young team and this is what is gonna happen. Although it would have maybe changed the game a bit, the coaching still wasn't very good imo.

For the record, you were not who I was referring to in my post

Secondly, I have trained a lot of individuals over the course of my career.

Some, you can do everything to make them better at their position, they just arent going to get it. Partly, because they are just not mentally capable.

Others, just are too damn arrogant to listen to what others try and teach them. They already know everything and dont need to listen

Last, are the ones that do what they are told, listen and learn, and turn out to be the best at what they do.

Less running chops, more doing.

Y'all are clueless. Dude is 2nd in the SEC in TD's and yards. He dropped a TD, yes. He's a stud reciever who can't get the ball thrown well consistently. He was spoiled with TB as well. Not to mention, he's a kid, guys. Have some class, sheesh.

All of yall are kinda off. Da'Rick has crazy potential and is terrific at times but if you think his hands don't need massive improvement you are crazy. He drops a ton of passes. I'd say 7 or 8 already this year.

His name is pronounced "Day-Rick," and he is the only consistent offensive threat UT has right now. At this point, there might not be any other healthy receivers on this roster that could've even gotten themselves open on that route.

This is a team that has been plagued with injuries and dismissals to their best players and has 7-8 total upperclassmen talented enough to even see the field on the last-ranking team in the SEC. It will be another 2-3 years minimum before the roster can possibly fill out with SEC-caliber talent and depth. There is no sense in complaining about players and coaches before then.

I like Da'Rick and I think he's a great talent. He's also immature. He's also 19 years old. So he's doing exactly what you would expect for his age, maturity, and developemental level.

He seems like he struggles at times with his emotional self control and that may be delaying his developement because he isn't always fully open to the instruction of his coaches.

As a reciever his biggest short fall is that he catches with his body rather than his hands most of the time. He needs to learn to attack the ball and catch it with his hands. If/when he makes that adjustment to his game he'll be a remarkable talent. Watch Blackman from Oky st.

Da'Rick is on par for his age and length of time in the program. By comparrison it should show what a truly talented player Hunter is and what a huge loss it's been to the team. Da'Rick is a 4 year guy. He needs all 4 of those years to reach his max college potential. By his senior year he will scary good.

Big-time drop, the TD could have changed the dynamics of the game. Da'Rick is a stud though and those that are bashing him should be ashamed. He will progress and be an even more impressive player next year, which will scare the hell out of opposing D's.

Like arTfuldodger said, some of you guys need to show some class.

You guys are crazy - Da'Freak is a monster.

You can't expect to catch everything thrown your way. Even Hunter had some big drops.

And I bet no one feels worse about it than Da'Rick.

Keep on fighting 21.
This. I have no problem with calling it what it is, but get over it. Bust his chops if his effort level falls off, but not for failure to making a play that he would give anything to make.

Big Time Players, Make Big Time Plays in Big Time Games. The drop was critical. Not saying he is not talented. However, you want to put yourself in the "Elite" category then you have to make that catch. IMO, it was a game changer.

That drop & Waggner not scoring with the int return really hurt.

Story of the game could not take advantage of opportunities.

Yeah I agree it would have been a major momentum changer. At least the Change to D has been positive yeah I know the Vols D were playing vs a inexperienced QB compared to JLee, JJefferson, Murray, etc but still helped the Vols stay in the game.
Without support from the Vols Offense the Vols D keeping them in games will continue to be futile. It's like a pitcher that pitches for 5 excellent innings without the other team scoring but the offense each time they get on 2nd, or 3rd they can't get a clutch hit to produce runs.

As I said, this guy is a second rate receiver compared to a guy like Hunter. He will make a career at UT comprised of piling up stats against meaningless teams/games.

The over-react crowd is out and about. Da'Rick did drop a pass. He makes lots of others though.
SC doubled Da'Rick all night with man coverage and one over the top or over-under zone coverage.
He had more catches for more yards than Alshon.

Our running game is what killed us. Period.
