Dante Phillips a VOL!

My guess is that someone on our staff was recruiting him before he committed to FU. Probably he either contacted one of them, or was contacted by one of them. Either way, he is now a 4 star recruit who signed with a team who needed help in that area.

Good pull, coaches!!

And what does this say about our academics? Is Florida that much better than us when it comes to academics? I am a grad student but I always considered UTK to be in the league of Florida, Alabama, Virginia Tech, USC, and Georgia; am I wrong? I did not expect us to be Virginia (UVA) or even Vanderbilt when it comes to academics, but at least Florida... am I the only one that is a little reserved by this news?

Florida has lowered their acceptance rate in recent years (still 50,000 students) which makes admissions more competitive. That is going to slowly change though as schools such as UCF and USF, more recent additions to the state school system, attract more students. As far as their academics go the only thing UF is known for is putting out some good golf course turf management people.

I had tickets, but had to give them up due to conflicting plans. I will be in Knoxville for UF, and God willing Bama. A good friend of mine has chosen the third Saturday in October as his tentative wedding date.:mega_shok:

My brother did that...had to watch us lose at the reception on a BlackBerry.

UT's law school is ranked about ten spots ahead of Kentucky but is behind Vandy, Uga, Bama, and UF in that order.

He realized the only way to make up for almost being a lowly reptile was to become a VFL. Much more prestige involved. Also Florida won't be winning **** any time soon. Good decision all the way around. V,B!

That's quite possibly one of the best gif's I've ever seen!
