Danny White Targeting Tony Elliot, Sonny Dykes, & Lance Leipold. - Jimmy Hyams

I think Jimmy has been around here for every coaching search since CFP was let go, in 2008. Does anybody have access to past tweets, etc... in order to evaluate how accurate he was on all the previous coaching searches?

Are you saying to Check His Stats?

You like the taste of crow ?

Elliotts name is brought up with many job openings, including the NFL. He is a hot name and I could have guessed he would be a candidate.

Dykes and Leipold have ties to White. Hyams literally took a shot in the dark on those 2 and presented them as fact.

Here are the facts. NO ONE outside of White and maybe one or 2 other people know who White is targeting.

The only "insider " we have on this board that has shown that their info is reliable has no clue. He has been spot on leading up to when the coaching search began and then his info dried up. He says now that we are targeting one current head coach (which leaves out Elliott), but has no clue who it is.

If it makes you feel better about yourself to side with Hyams guesses, then sure. But he is like every other journalist right now, they know squat and are offering up names to get clicks.

When the smoke clears and we find out which boosters are involved in the infractions, I wonder if Jimmy will reveal if any of them have been his sources?

I'm curious about getting a new coach, but not excited. Maybe the team will win more games, but my expectations have been plowed under. Whomever is named, I doubt that I will yay or boo.

I think Dykes is maybe a little underrated, but not sure he’s cut out for turning around an SEC program.
He is a mid major coach.

I read the Wiki about his time at Cal. His Defenses made Sunseri and Shoop look like Neyland. Like NCAA record setting bad.
