As a scientist for more than four decades I consider myself to be a very data driven person. I concentrate on facts and ignore most of the other extraneous "noise." The only "fact" that matters relative to this entire thread is- "Hyams is NEVER right about anything." No further evaluation needed.

He gave no clear indication on who he is looking at, hyams has no idea and is looking fir people to bite, now the player stuff I’m sure he could get info but White in his presser gave no clear indication on who he’s looking at, I honestly believe it’s a proven winner in a power 5 conference that he believe we can win with and recruit with sanctions going on

RELAX, If you watched the press conference his key message was too positive, and trust him. His race record should give the Vol Nation hope.

Instead of being sponsored by Brown Squirrel, Jimmy should just take a job there in the recliners or mattress department.

His press conference was pretty impressive. Check it out. I don't know whether he will succeed or not. Time will tell. But he certainly looks the part of a potential home run hire. Go Vols!

It was very impressive. One of the many things a appreciated was that he believes in his process. When he was speaking or answering questions he barely looked at his notes, he spoke from his heart and mind

Elliott is a great recruiter not only throughout the Carolinas but has pulled kids out of East Tennessee and the midstate recently. Tennessee at its peak could go to the Carolinas and get any kid that they wanted as well as locking down the state outside of Memphis. Any coach that is to be successful at Tennessee has to do that. Tennessee would be a unique place for him to not only maximize his recruiting talent but team up with a seasoned defensive coordinator.

The admin didn't have a single leak. No one I know of even brought up White's name in the AD search so now we're to believe there are leaks from White about his targets? BS. If anyone is floating names, it's guys looking to get a raise and extension or just a guess by Hyams. Hell, everyone has speculated about Leipold being a possible choice. No reason to freak out. This cat knows what he's doing. This will be about as stress free a coaching search as I've been through as a fan. Feeling no angst whatsoever on this one.

The Funny thing is Jimmy asked him about options and he said I haven't spoken to anyone, and that I will talk to the players and see what direction they want to go.....

And from this Jimmy comes away with.....Elliot, Dykes, Leipold

The only possible one from these 3 is Elliot and it would be because the players think the Clemson way would win.

There will not be one player that suggests Dykes or Leipold.

Jimmy is a MORON!
