None of these pundits, NONE, had any hint that White would be our AD. Suddenly, they know what he is planning to do. I am at a loss that anyone would give credence to anything they say. Next, we will have Doug Matthew's comments breathlessly repeated. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

I hope you are right. Sonny is a washed out coach who failed miserably at Cal (imagine him in SEC at pressure situation like TN) and Lance is still very unproven to me with 37-33 record in MAC (we have seen how MAC winners fair here with Butch) ..

I guess out of those, Leipold would be the best.

Heck no to Sonny Dykes or Tony Elliott. Dykes isn’t a good HC and Elliott has only coordinator experience.

Leipold has at least shown improvement at Buffalo.

The fact that there is a lot of smoke around Tony Elliot tells me that he isn't the guy. I believe White is playing this very close to the vest. Since the media is completely in the dark, they are just throwing out names as click bait.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's already talked to his prime candidates, before he was announced as AD.

No one had a clue he'd be AD, they definitely wouldn't know who he may have approached already.

In the Coachery thread, SF said that Jimmy is just throwing out nonsense. I'm sure Leopold might be in the mix, but he said Herman for sure was in the final 5, and Campbell is a target as well. Possibly Frost with Kiffin possibly down the list. Said we should have our guy by next week.
