Danny O'Brien suspended (now returning to practice)

O'Brien's situation has me lost. I'm trying to get info from a few sources, but either they don't know, or they are doing a good job leading me to believe that they don't. Normally, a 1st failed drug test is handled internally, 2nd gets 1 game suspension, and 3rd you're gone. This doesn't "fit" into the normal consequences which leads me to believe it's something different. A crime would have been reported in the media, so that leaves what?

Has to be one of 2 things IMO

Drug addiction/rehab

Or

Failed NCAA which means he is done for the year.

Hopefully danny sues UT for everything it's worth if they suspended him with no wrong doing. Screw hart and cheek

Generally speaking, drug test failures don't have to be ruled on outside of the Ath Dept, do they?

Someone said this case had other areas of admin involved. The only way I can see that and drugs is if he was accused of dealing.

If it was an NCAA test I would assume there could have been an appeal procedure
