Rumor that He was on the radio taking shots at CLK on the radio. Has anyone heard about this? Supposedly it was in Gainesville.

If true....He should worry more about his son making field goals instead of choking. Last time I checked 55% is not good.

Who cares what the liquored-up kicker's father says.

Edit: I meant to say kicker's liquored-up father.

I cant stand Lincoln, we need another kicker before the football season starts big time. Lincoln is a big time choker, and way to sporadic to kick for us. I mean he may make a 45 yarder, then miss five consecutive 20 yard field goals. I would like to get more consistency out of a kicker.

It's been several days since I heard them talking about it on the radio.

I think he just basically said that Lane needs to keep his mouth shut.

I think he should take his own advice and keep his mouth shut. I don't see how he is doing his son or the team any favors by running his mouth on the radio.

I heard this discussed earlier in the week on Basilio's show (or it may have been end of last week). I'd like to hear the interview.

A guy from gator country was on 1180 thew other day and he said Lincolns father did not bash Kiffin, he just said that all the players seem to really like Kiffin but some parents seem to be concerned about this new staff.

lincoln was great for us his freshman year, but was absolutely horrible from an angle last season. consistency has definitely been an issue for him

If anything the parents should be happy b/c their kids won't be out getting in trouble and if they do, there will be consequences.

The players are worried now because they are having to work there tails off to see the field. As far as lincoln goes to hell with him start hitting some field goals before your daddy gets on the radio to protect you.

agree....But i do think that we should reserve judgement on this kid and his family until after we get the full story on what was said.

agree with above post. i can also understand why parents MAY be a bit paranoid about the coaches. u got orgeron with his wild past, and i think somewhere that coach garza had a DUI or somthin in the recent past. not saying its right to feel that way by any means, but i do understand the paranoia

I think that happens anytime you change coaching staffs, especially when you are replacing a head coach that was there the length of time CPF was.

It is human nature that the parents are going to be a little more involved/skeptical with a new staff, especially when a lot of parents used to just send there kids to CPF and not worry about it.....Whether that was the right thing to do or not.

When his foot contacted the football last season 45% of the time.

haha amen this kid has got to get his game back.... remember his freshman year... i think it was maybe against USCe but im not sure... when he had that sly grin on his face b4 kicking the game winner... they called a timeout and he (i believe) shanked it on purpose.... then he nailed it and walked off smiling... thats the lincoln we need back
