Lou Holtz may hate UT, but ESPN in general doesn't hate UT. ESPN is basically a large group of bandwagon fans.

You're exacty right. When the day comes that Tennessee is competing for a NC every year, ESPN will be on our bandwagon too.

if i saw what i believe i saw, he was first team on their abc show tonight.

edit: not freshman aa, first team nation-wide

I'd figure that first team all-american kickers wouldn't miss two field goals in the SEC championship

Don't hold your breath....Do not think we will ever have another Game Day... as long as the current crew are there... What is worst even after we had won the NC there were still Question Marks hanging over our heads.

They didn't know what to say....

I do not see them Visiting Knoxville anytime soon...

Lou Holtz is just jealous.. he does not have the best record against Tennessee. Every school he coached at we beat pretty bad....

If UF and Tennessee are undefeated when they play each other, Gameday will come.

I wonder if they voted on this before the SEC Championship Game. Not one of his better games.

Only a potential AA would have proved themselves enough over the season to be placed in a position in a CG to miss that second FG - it was about a 51 yarder if I remember correctly. The first miss was a big one....but the second was a tough FG even for a dome. Now...the fact that he had the distance but missed it (with no wind) is disappointing...but even small mistakes become big at that distance.

With that said, first team AA would really, really surprise me. First team freshman AA....more believable.
