I remember reading towards the beginning of the season that Daniel Adderley WR/TE from Miami(FL) was transferring to UT. Is he with the team or did he not end up here? If this is the wrong forum, I apologize.

That sucks. He caught some decent balls this spring. I was excited to see what he could have done.

I saw him up close at the Spring Game... Dude is a MONSTER... He's like Kellen Winslow Jr, except just a LITTLE taller, and a LITTTTLLLEEEE bit Lankier.

I was hoping he would get a chance to play in the game with the type of Offense were going to run... Oh well

He was never going to sniff the field at Tennessee. I have no idea why he chose to transfer here to begin with.

What makes you say that?

Has anyone actually seen him play?

How many TE's do you suppose we have to run this 2 to 3 to 4 tight end set that Dools wants to run?

He is still young and develop-able.

If he transfers, then he's an idiot, he has a chance here, at least I think

He didn't get any playing time at Miami because he wasn't that good.

i saw him play in high school...the competition they played against was horrible...the school he played for was just getting a football program(1st or 2nd yr) and they played very small schools and even some jv teams from bigger schools....i imagine the talent difference has been pretty drastic as well as trying to get more physical

Apparently he lost too many credits transferring from Miami to UT, so he hopes to go somewhere that will accept more of his credits (he was paying international tuition rates) and where he can play football. Not sure how much sense that makes but he was the prototype TE - although I heard he was afraid of getting hit. Now we are down to Stocker, Bartholomew, Lenning and Wegzyn - plus the new guy, I forget his name. Hope Clear comes to UT, we can use some more depth at this position.
