To have so much talent left on the board to fill spots with. Best recruiting year I can remember (I'm 19). One reason I wanted Lord Gruden :bow2: so bad was I thought it would change how well we recruited, but Butch has exceeded all expectations. And I think we've found someone who can both recruit and coach. At a high level. Dang it feels good to be a Vol!

It does feel awesome. I feel like we can get almost any guy we want. It's hard for me to keep up with, we lead or are near the top of so many, I'm not sure who to expect to commit. It's freaking awesome!!!

Jon Garbage owes his soul, that cushy MNF gig, and all wins accrued in Tampa to Monte Kiffin's perennially top 10 ranked Tampa 2 defense. To hell with King Garbage, and I sincerely hope that piece of trash never brings his stupid tail to Knoxville again, lest his suck somehow rub off on the Vols.

Why kiss the *** of a coach (IMHO) that makes Derek Dooley look like Nick Saban?? Why kiss the *** of a coach that failed miserably, horribly, and spectacularly at his last job?? Jealousy has exactly NOTHING to do with it. Jon Gruden sucks, plain and simple. I've proven my point on here with facts, and **** near got laughed out of the building. Here's a recap:

I believe you made your point. Seeing your Bucs logo leads me to believe you probably had to sit through Gruden's disaster in Tampa. Leave it up to a 19 year old who has no historical perspective to be caught up in the media hype and bandwagon hysteria. Not his fault, just his lack of life experience.

Give Gruden some credit. He knows he doesn't want to work with and recruit teen aged boys and win at a place like UT. He was a disaster at Tampa and we would have had the third coaching disaster in a row on the Hill. The Grudenites are fans who get caught up in the hoopla and then complain about the bad hires that Hamilton made.

Butch has been THE CHAMPION 2 out of 3 years at each of his HC stops. I know all of the "but this is the SEC" talk. He has been a winner everywhere he has been and I believe he will be a winner here. I don't expect him to win the SEC on an average of 2 of every 3, but I believe he will compete for and win championships here on a regular basis. eace2:

This is a totally different hire from Kiffin and Dooley. Neither of those guys had a history of winning.

That is one problem the under 25 crowd has. You are impressed by lights, glitter,talk,hype,BS, and whatever the talking idiots spout out of their mouth. This is why OBAMA got elected.

You don't know how to evaluate humbleness, hardwork, tradition, dedication, desire, etc.

What accomplishment does Gruden have to make anyone lavish this high praise over him like he would be the greatest College FB coach of all time?

Sorry for venting, but it still bothers me about the love affair with Gruden that some of you had on here. And I bet most of you Gruden lovers were in-love with that Douche Bag Lame Kitten too!!
