Was looking for an update on the Astros that got hurt vs Braves last night and saw a report Gilbert is gone for the season with a dislocation. Sorry if already posted and tried to link it but the story kept going to a buy it mode.

Thanks for the update, that’s sux for Drew however he made an impression that will last all winter going into spring of next year.

Astros 1st-Round Draft Pick Drew Gilbert Done for the Year

It hurts Drew, but there isn't much minor league baseball left this season anyway. I don't think he will fall behind his classmates very much because of this. It's not like he'll miss a planned call-up to the big team. He can take care of his body in the meantime. He played a full season of college ball 60 some games plus his work in the minors up til his injury. The rest of his body could probaly use the rest while the dislocation heals. He'll be back better than ever this coming spring.
