Dane Bradshaw Coming Out with A Book...

A review of the book and comments from Dane about writing it...

tfpOnline:Darren Epps

Bradshaw's book is really a collection of daily diary entries -- "Actually, I prefer 'journal' because 'diary' sounds kind of girlie," he says -- covering Tennessee's run to the Sweet 16 in the 2006-07 season.

"I write a 200-page book," Bradshaw said, "and Coach Pearl's foreword is the best three pages in the whole thing."

This isn't a tell-all book -- he was always a good teammate, right? -- but it doesn't need scandals to maintain interest. He unveils the nicknames of his teammates, including "Lil' Town" for JaJuan Smith because he comes from "the small town of Cleveland."

Cool. I wouldn't mind reading that.

It is a pretty good read, is a daily journal starting at the end of the 2006 season, I have read through summer workouts, NIT and am at the Oklahoma State game. Sorry I tend to use books to occupy time in my "home office." so forgive me but I read in spurts. I just realized the door i opened. Sorry you lose points with something that easy. My wife ordered mine before it came out, so mine came Autographed. It is pretty cool because he talks some about each one of the freshman as they arrived on campus. I would recomend it, not for the "wisdom of Sir Bradshaw" but the look behind the scenes at UT Hoops.

Well, I started about 2 hours ago and went all the way through and read the book. It's a great recap to the season and it takes you through just about everything Dane did throughout the season. It's a great book.
