I liked the part where Dane tried to downplay his play and the the writer calls it BS. The writers point was dead on. It wasn't luck, it was Dane being Dane.

On of my favorite parts of the article:

Bradshaw stood beside OSU's David Monds and Mario Boggan when Ramar Smith's attempt went up, and, what the hell, let's do a multiple-choice question.

Who should get the rebound?
A) The 6-8, 240-pounder with two good arms.
B) The 6-7, 240-pounder with two good arms.
C) The 6-4, 205-pounder with no good arms.

The answer, clearly, is C.

Under most circumstances, it wouldn't be. But if C is Bradshaw and the game is in the balance, always go with C because betting against him would be stupid, and it would make you like most college coaches who saw a slow-footed, relatively non-athletic point guard coming out of high school and immediately decided he'd never be a factor at the Division I level.
