I swear you just have everybody loving you. Is your sole objection for getting on this site to argue and use your "big" words to make yourself sound much more intelligent than you really are? Do you want people to feel inferior to you? I knew kids like yourself back in high school many years ago. Kids that probably still to this day act just like yourself, 30 years old living on dads wallet. If you want to talk football that's fine, let everyone know your opinion and agree to disagree but your really just showing your ignorance by arguing and using the vocabulary to try and make others feel inferior to your posts.

Don't waste your time discussing anything with him or sjt it is pointless, everything at UT is viewed through a negative lens. Then they will spend 10 straight pages explaining how they are really not "negative". I look forward to not reading their replies.

Living on dad's wallet huh? I graduated from undergrad and grad school up to my eyeballs in student loan debt cause my parents couldn't afford to foot the bill. Guess you're not as good at reading strangers through a keyboard as you thought.

P.S. I don't ignore anyone, I'm not that sensitive.

How many games do you go to on a yearly basis? How many away games/bowl games have you been to? Do you donate to the university? You're welcome to question my fandom, but my actions suggest otherwise.

You humbled me because you falsely evaluated me? You looked at that rebuttal before submitting it and actually thought it made sense? I guess I struck a nerve with you initially since you felt the need to gripe about my vocabulary.

Listen, you are not the only person that can afford season tickets/ donor status, and the ability to go go to away games. Congratulations if you do these things because yes the program relies on donors and ticket sales, but your not the only damn person that does it, so stop acting like your the most educated/ successful Tennessee fan to walk these sacred grounds. Nobody cares. It doesn't make you more of a fan then somebody who can't afford it.

No more free passes for Jones. He recruited these players and in the end he is responsible. I am tired of hearing excuses. We cannot say we had a top 5 class at this point. Losing 5-6 of the 4 star players has reduced the 2014 class to a mediocre level. That is the reality, you either keep the players or you give up saying it was a top 5 class. Excuses as to why it happened are irrelevant. Good for discussion but irrelevant.

Yeah, let's fire Butch and give back Hurd, Barnett, et.al, this class was a bust. It's just never enough for some people.

How about any stats? Payne couldn't even see the field on special teams. He was an undersized corner that would have rarely saw the field. He got passed up by Moseley, Gaulden, & Evan Berry on the depth chart. Got Abernathy possibly Amadi and or Martin coming in. I wish Butch could have pulled the Tabor kid that went to Florida if he was going to land someone from the DC area.

Butch isn't going to get fired yet BUT he has taken a hit with all the freshmen leaving. You just can't lose that many and sweep it under the carpet.

If Payne was such a poor player then why did Jones recruit him in the first place ? I am not sure Payne was as bad as you say though. He needed to have an additional year in the weight room before he was written off completely.

Maybe...just a thought...the star rankings weren't correct or perhaps he wasn't adjusting to SEC level or maybe Knoxville wasn't the place for him? Kids and coaches make mistakes during the recruiting courtship. Happens everywhere. Not the least bit concerned.

My point is I'm not a nega-Vol because I disagree with another's point of view. If I was so down on the program and the coach I wouldnt continue to blow my money and weekends on the the program. It has nothing to do with throwing around my weight. I contribute such a minute amount of money that the university probably doesn't know I even exist, so that's irrelevant.

Actually you are right.... The only reason people don't notice it in top tier programs like Alabama is because they are winning, we are not so therefore fans need something to blame it on wether it be the coach or losing players that are ranked 4 star recruits but likely never would have seen the field. But I think your right!

Yeah but it takes a bunch of fans minute contributions to build something big so it is relevant and I'm very sure it matters. I will continue to blow my money and weekends on UT football until I'm unable to do so anymore. Why? Because we are all fans and it's something we enjoy as fans, it'll be a little more enjoyable like the old days soon, I hope!

Correct. Just like bama, when we are consistently signing more 4* then 3*, we will have more athletes that expect to play early and who will want to go somewhere else when they don't. It means our programs is doing good, not bad. /thread
