I can't start a new thread yet, but this is related to your comment about Hamilton above. When you think of our decade of dysfunction, how would you rank the following from messing up our program the most to the least?

No special order here: Fulmer, Hamilton, Kiffen, Hart, Dooley, Butch, Hamiltons, UT president(s), Claw-fense, Others? Just curious who everyone thinks the largest contributor to our downfall is.

WV is a good fotball team but no where near the best we will see all year. Grier is a good QB and their receivers exposed freshman DB's but what did you expect to happen? The more we add better players the easier these games become for us. We simply need to win enough for better players to want to come here and hope our current staff can evaluate talent a lot better than the last staff could.

Fisrtboff, how about stop saying a QB lost to a team. Peyton never lost to UF. Clausen never beat UF. Those are TEAM wins and losses. If Fulmer won the 2001 SECCG,we would have went on to,likely suffer the worst beatdown in program history. What if Cody didnt block the FGs? Kiffin woukd still have screwed us. The coaching hires matter. It shows how inept this administration has been. It also shows what happens when a university becomes beholden to one person and his money. Just ignoring or forgetting about the idiots that have brought us to thismpoint is showing foolishness imo. Those who deny history are doomed to repeat it. The absolute criminal coaching hires that have been committed since Fulmer should never be forgotten.

I agree that the results of the game were predicable, it was a bad match up for us.

Of course WV would struggle if their best player went down, few teams would continue to roll if their star quarterback was injured. It remains to be seen if WV will be able to continue their success after Grier leaves.

Hamilton was several years and 3 athletic directors ago, there has been time to fix the damage he did.

They did lose the 3 games last year after their QB was injured and could not play. This year they have 2 preseason all-american WRs and a bunch of seniors, including the highest rated QB in collage playing this year. We played a very young team and inexperience team which will improve every game they play.
