It would be a wet dream for some UT fans, but you'd have a better shot of being struck by lightning than PM becoming UT's next HC.

Hey how bout Dooley stays, which means we win more games this year than expected.
After long off season, manning decides its not worth the hassle to try to rehab anymore.
Dooley and Chaney decide to part ways and opens up the offensive coordinator postition to Peyton!
Recruits go wild'

Then I wake up and get the kids ready for school and go to work.

Go Big Orange

HA HA HA HA HA...that's funny right there. I would also assume that Peyton coaches for free since I'm sure that he's set for life already with more than 100 million in the bank.

Peyton is an expert on the game and coaches every team he's ever been on, IMO. If not a head coach, he'd be a good offensive coordinator.

Well, he wouldn't hold us up for bucks. I wouldn't be surprised to see him work with the program in some peripheral capacity in the future, but not as HC. He'll be fielding TV offers.

If the Broncos don't step it up and he keeps taking those hits, he might be doing it soon.

Ok I'll bite, who in the blue hail is Dan Wolken?:ermm:

Apparently some guy with a twitter account and an overactive imagination.

But someday, I could see Peyton as an OC. I know everyone thinks analyst, but Peyton loves to breakdown defenses. I could see him as an OC just for the challenge alone. He's a competitor. Seems like he would want to be involved directly with the game rather than commenting on it. But I don't think it's any time soon.

Apparently, he is a Vandy grad (2001) that once wrote for the crappiest paper in Tennessee, the Commercial Appeal, and for a dinky paper in Colorado Springs. He now writes for an online paper, called "The Daily" that has no real credibility. He also has a Twitter account. Really people, we need to be a bit more discerning.

He got laid off by The Daily. He now writes for USA Today.

Believe it. As somebody that went to school with Peyton (had a couple of classes with him), the job is his when he wants it... and he'll want it after a short break from playing. He loves UT. If he believes that being the HC gives the university the best chance to be on top... he'll do it. If only for the challenge because we know Peyton hates a challenge. ;)
