Then when he becomes dominant Fisher could trade him.
You mean try to go the Budget Rental route and let the best DT in franchise history leave in free agency. Can't see Indy letting Manning go, so why in the world would Fisher and Reinfeldt play the same old cheapskate tricks for years when they could have tied him up a year or two ago, at a rate that was comparable to his worth THEN...not when they knew he'd have another Pro Bowl season. The way they handled Haynesworth was the biggest personnel fiasco I've ever seen. Not to mention their routine attempts to draft WR's in the later rounds. They've all been busts. Kenny Britt has proven how valuable that position is, yet they have treated it with such little concern, I personally wouldn't mind seeing Fisher and Reinfeldt go...if these were indeed their personal decisions.

Those things and holding out with Kerry Collins till the season was already in the tank should get get both of those (Fisher and Reinfeldt) characters arses dangled in the fire for much of the offseason.

I think the promotion of Chuck Cecil has proven disastrous, so there should be a lot of shakeup defensively.

im a jaguars fan and if they take teblow i might never watch the NFL again
I actually think that might be a good pick for them, believe it or not. I'm not a big fan of his, but I think much of this crap regarding his inability to thrive in the NFL is overblown.

I think he is a Steve Young clone, yet a much more physical version. Da Jags are a playoff caliber team, so I think Tebow could come in and be groomed for the job over the next season and compete for the starting position the following year

I agree 1000% with everything you've said. It's just reprehensible and grossly incompetent that they let Haynesworth get away. If that were the first time, it would still be egregious; but considering they've let go Antwan Odom in the recent past as well along with that cornerback/return man whose name I can't remember, and in the past few years every decent receiver they've had, their personnel decisions have been atrocious.

I heard recently on 104.5 that Fisher has a lot of say in all personnel decisions. If that's true, he should be out the door. Even if it's not, his coaching this year has been pretty horrid. Just the promotion of Cecil alone should get him canned. IMHO.

This was the guy they should have promoted, if anyone:
Tennessee Titans: Dave McGinnis

Heck, he has 3yrs HC experience, as well as DC experience...so it's a bit of a slap to the face, IMHO for Fisher to pass him over, when he's immensely more qualified. I've hated over half of the Titans drafting decisions. CJ was one that I somewhat agreed with...due to his speed and homerun threat ability.

But, what chaps my hide is how "Close" Fisher cuddles up with VY now that he single-handedly saved his bacon. I was pissed that Kerry Collins stayed in so damn long...after he proved he was part of the problem, game after game after game. Yet Fisher was stubbornly sticking with the guy who has been virtually washed up as a starter for several years now. He's been little more than than a Jon Kitna. fisher was going to let Young rot on the bench and then get cut at season's end.

He deserves to be the one "cut" IMHO. The only way I'd be comfortable with him back is if he changes his ways and I see the Titans draft with some sense and be willing to do some wheeling and dealing in the first or 2nd rds.

I think, between now and draft day, they need to do something to fill the crater left at DT when they let Big Al hit free agency (because of their tightwad arses).

Either package some players off our current roster to move up and get Suh or EB (and hope Price falls to us in the 2nd Rd), or at least take WR Dez Bryant (kick Washington's behind to the curb...no wonder he was just a backup at Pittsburgh). I'm getting sick of other teams loading up at WR and playing in the SB, while we routinely shop at Rent-A-Receiver.

I wasn't even aware of the McGinnis storyline - that is just unfathomably stupid that he got passed over for someone with no DC experience, especially considering how completely inept Cecil has been. Cecil has easily been the worst DC in the league this year. And I agree too about Fisher buddying up to the guy he was going to let rot on the bench - just pathetic. I've never liked Collins, and the way he played the first two or three games, it was just inane to keep playing him. Pretty bad when the owner has more sense about the game than the HC.

Thought this would be a good place to post this. I ran into (not literally) Dan in Best Buy on the 21st or 22nd - nicest guy you'd ever want to meet.

Mentioned to him that we'll miss him next year, but look forward to watching him play at the next level. He smiled and said, "Don't hear that too often."
