Dan Mullen is not the end all be all. He did okay when he had a transcendent quarterback, same as Jones. Nothing special about him. Let's not be suckered into chasing another Sexton client.

Not sure why some of ya’ll think he’s a miracle worker.

Mullen’s qb’s have been significantly better than any Butch ever had. Also, Mullen has a track record of developing QB’s at 3 different schools. Butch has has 1 decent qb in his career.

Tell me again why we don’t go after a guy who always has his team ready to play? I’ve got to believe his recruiting would be even better with us. The man is a winner.

I for one hope the Gators go for Frost and leave us the opportunity to get somebody who I believe is an excellent coach.

Get that logic out of here. People out here think he has to constantly compete for SEC titles and recruit top 10 classes with ease at a place like Starkville if he’s so great.

Of course. I would so mad with player development across the roster made up of 4 and 5 Stars and a coach who doesn’t need a chart to coach.

I would be so disappointed with that.

Mullen has never beaten Saban and has had alot more cracks at it than Butch has... I believe that he averages a top-25 recruiting class, but he doesn't average a finish in the top-25.

I agree that he would be an upgrade over Butch. But I think that there are more than a dozen other coaches that are better.

Do you know what "Butch Apologist" means? He is not being a Butch Apologist. You cannot attack the premise of his argument, so you attack him?

It’s Mississippi State. No one recruits top 25 classes there.
