I was being sarcastic, which is why I used the little girl reference. I am also posting while working on payroll and typed I.

I am as tired of the rumor threads as anyone. Rex needs to chill with this stuff.

okay, for all you dudes busting on Dan, he was just doing his job.

Promise you, if any of our staff see a rival doing something we think might be a NCAA recruiting problem or an NCAA issue with a current roster, we better pcik that phone up and call the NCAA. Everyone is the policemen for the NCAA. If no one ever called then they would not have anything to investigate.

Dan is a good guy who happened to see something he thought fishy and told his boss. Big Ed would do same thing.

fortunately, it appears nothing bad will happen. You jethro's lighten up on Dan. :nono:

Multiple sources have indicated to Volquest.com that Clemson University was one of the schools to bring the NCAA's attention to the hostess' visit to South Carolina which has in part prompted the inquiry. Kiffin declined to comment when he asked if he was aware of who had contacted the NCAA.

This makes sense.

That is the reason it is called a "review", and not an "investigation".

The AA is looking to see if anything is worth investigating, out of these allegations. And from what the people involved have stated, a "review" is all that will become of it.

And the NYT guy will write an oversensationalized followup about how the NCAA failed to meet some mythical standards by letting evil Tennessee get away with whoring out college girls. At least that's what he'll imply.

Dan turning us in the NCAA kind of pisses me off but whoever leaked this to the NYT needs to be curbstomped.
