It's more about TEI being a completely inept and garbage organization and unable to build/piece together a reliable engine than it is intentional meddling. The 1, 8, and 15 have all had several failures this season. The 01 car has had one or two since it became part of TEI as well. Just another reason to run, not walk, away from TEI.

ESPN's Richmond race coverage might as well have been titled "The Dale Earnhardt Jr Show",with all the Jr hype. News flash-there are 42 other drivers in Nextel Cup. Jr did not make the Chase. So what? Was he supposed to? Jr lost fair and square. Get over it,media and Jr fans!!!! That's life and Jr should not be treated as a privileged character just because he has his father's name.
