Good lord, what a bunch of idiots. Best sports interview pertaining to the game on any media outlet, but the sheep would rather hear Fat Jack, or take a guess as the sports fix at 6.

This.

The interview gives perspective into how they not only shut down UTs running game but also how they shut down Clemsons running game last year. He also goes on to say Tennessee will be jusy fine moving forward.

It was interesting.
But, unless I missed it, I would like for Dale to have been asked if he has ever interviewed for a job at UT.
And, if not, why not.

I think DJ is pretty happy at Appy.
He is a small town guy. He was DC at one time, and for whatever reason he went back down to a position coach.
Boone is a great town, and he's seen the school transition into FBS and have a lot of success.
Some coaches aren't just ladder climbers.

I've not listened to it yet, but it got a glowing recommendation from a buddy I trust.

You absolutely have to listen to Tony Basilio 2nd segment interview with Dale Jones today! Trust me you will feel better about our team. Go to his website.

In this interview....Dale says it all...and reveals that he really hasn't changed since his days as a Bradley Bear....

He's still a humble guy who loves the sport of Football...He just loves the game FIRST....and He has ALWAYS loved the VOLS! And he cares about his team-mates and his players more than about himself.

He is self-less--he's not the guy who is trying to make a name for himself...he said in the interview "I have nothing to prove..." You could still catch him taking a family member to Hardees for breakfast here in Cleveland.

Listen to his words....he speaks of coaching up "his kids"....He said..."stars don't mean nothing...it's what's in his heart"

He and Chris White were two of the best athletes I've ever seen....but they never carried themselves as though they thought they were better than you.

His Aunt said that he was extremely loyal to App. State's former HC, Jerry Moore. She doesn't think he would ever leave App. State....

HE's simply a LEADER...probably the best....:salute:

Those who weren't around in the 80's missed a helluva player.

"Happy at Appy"....made me laugh.
Would be a great slogan for them except they hate being called Appy and would rather be called App.

Boone is a great place to live and raise a family. Knowing Jonesy, it fits him well. It doesn't surprise me that he doesn't want to leave.
