Considering Beamer has SCjr performing atleast as well as clemson, recuits wanting to stay instate have a choice to go to a local SEC school and be competitive. Clemson is not the only choice in town anymore.
There is a really good chance that SCjr and Clemson have similar looking records at seasons end. I am not sure of Beamer's buyout but by early November, his seat is probably one of the warmest in the league. The gamecocks look like crap so far this year.

Beamer had a $13.75 million buyout clause in his previous contract if South Carolina were to fire him. But he's since signed an extension and I can't find any information on what it is now.

Edit: Wow. I found it.

"Beamer’s salary will be bumped up to $8.15 million for the 2025 season and he’ll get a $100,000 raise each season to put him at $8.65 million in 2030. The total value of guaranteed salary comes out at $50.4 million dollars over 6 seasons."
