Da' Rick Rogers to Colts

Why any decent fan base would wish it's previous players bad luck is beyond me, it's truly sad!

No big deal. I go back and forth on where threads about former Vols in the pros belong.

Thank you, by the way. I never venture in the NFL forum because I'm not a huge fan, but I love hearing updates about our Vols. If those updates wind up in the Vol Football forum for a little bit before getting sent to the NFL forum, it gives me a chance to see them.

Evidently the Colts want Da Rick Rogers now.

This thug gets way to many second chances.

Y! SPORTS

If you had the physical attributes that this "thug" has you would probably be given a lot of second chances also. D. Rogers was a great reciever while he was here, I honestly thought he was better than Justin hunter .

Thug? He failed a drug test for marijuana. I think Labor Day weekend has fried alot of people's brains.

I agree, I know people way above my head, that make well over 6 figures, that smoke weed every single day. Infact you would rather not be around them if they didnt have any.

Word from a couple guys connected to the NFL that Charlie Baggett told teams absolutely do not draft this kid. The sentiment was/is what will this "punk/kid" do when he gets a pay day, the crowd he was hanging around didn't change much after college either didn't ditch the hopeful 'entourage'. He had a good mini-camp, but was jumped on for taunting/celebrating or whatever after a mini-camp TD. He faded during fall camp, and was pushed out by a couple vets, 2 high draft pick rookies, and I believe Brad Smith who can do multiple things on the field.

I think he can still make something of his career to many other less talented players have received so many opportunities in the league.

When you get waived, do you go back onto the practice squad assuming no one else signs you?

If they want you on the practice squad. There are only 8 practice squad spots per team.

And even if he does go back, any team can sign him at any time because he would still be considered a free agent.
