Exactly what I would expect from him. He can't let Cozart excel, because then everyone will realize how idiotic Baker's insisting on sticking with Janish and Renteria for the first half of the season was.

Well when dusty rolled out gomes to ph, I knew this game was over.

Also, to just add to the classy discussion, I believe I witnessed at least 3 times tonight that carpenter called out his own players on the field. I would just like to see one of those guys stand up to him and tell him off. Unacceptable for him to get away with that kind of behavior towards his own guys. Better yet if mr. shingles had a spine he might walk out there and let carpenter know that kind of behavior is not acceptable. but we know how larussa conducts himself.

You're an idiot! He's a team leader and has earned the right to do what he does. I understand Reds fans hating Carp, hell he's won 12 of the last 13 times he's faced the Reds. He should pay taxes in Ohio because he ownes Cincy.

Phillips is thought of as trash in the league. You don't have to like it and he's not the only one. But he is what he is, a pusssy who relies on his team to back up his mouth. He starts shiit and runs when people pull his card.
As a Reds fan u should be embarrassed of him. Hell, ur team is the home of the bad boys. The old school Reds would kick his asss in the locker room for being such a pusss.

pretty much the way it is going to go. the reds have no manager no hitting and really 2 good pitchers. time to send jocketty dusty rolen gomes arroyo cordero and chapman packing and either bring in some new talent or bring up all these young players and give them a shot. jocketty should be fired for the chapman deal to begin with. 5 million a year for a bust what a joke.

You and emain don't get it. Cards fans expect to win the Div title. We don't give a damn about a season series with a fellow central team! Hell, that's for the other teams in the central like the Cubs, Brewers and Reds.
So no I don't really care about a "season series". If y'all win the "season series" I'll let y'all brag.

we will. and as long as the cards don't win the division I will be happy. i'll give you the point about fans expecting to win. you have a higher salary and a better front office, something the reds don't have. you guys will go get the players you need and the reds won't.
