Luckily, Arroyo is usually pretty damn good post-break and Carpenter hasn't been anywhere near spectacular this year. It might work out.

You can say what you want about TL but the guy is a proven winner. He is by no means my favorite person but that has nothing to do with Phillips being a true little pusy. He runs his mouth then runs away and let's his team take up for him.

And once again, Brandon Phillips simply told the media what the rest of the league was thinking about the Cardinals for years, the team and the coaches are nothing but a bunch of whiny *****es. They proved that when they decided to jaw at Cordero when their asses got swept in May.

Who's jealous? In my lifetime, the WS tally is Reds 3 Cards 2. Also, the Reds didn't spend the entire '70s repped by a bunch of coked up trash like Keith Hernandez and Gary Templeton. Further, Reds fans never marked out like stupid children for a roided up piece of garbage like Mark McGwire. I've got no real issues with the Cards. I always dialed to KMOX for the last three innings after Reds games as a kid. That said, this superiority complex St. Louis fans have developed is comical. You've won the fewer World Championships in the last quarter century than the Marlins.

I stand by what I said. About the Cards vs the Reds (or any other NL team) and I especially stand by what I said about Phillips. He is garbage.
And as far as the quality of people repping the Cards vs other teams in the 70's I think they were right in line with the other teams, and you know that as well as I.

Okay, so when he has blamed losses on his teammates, *****ed about balls not being rubbed down right, started **** with Carlos Lee because Lee dare get angry with himself after popping out, etc. etc. he was just being full of class. However, when Brandon Phillips calls he and others out for the same thing, and they get butthurt about it, he is being classless.
