In the bizzaro world of Bryan Price it somehow makes since to bat the Whiffmeister #6 with his .171 BA and Negron #7 with a .114 BA ahead of Pena with his team leading .356 BA/.429 OBP at #8. Did I say the team leading hitter, not power guy, hitter - is batting 8th in the order. Not saying Pena should hit #3, he's too slow. But at least bat him 5th or 6th to get more AB's with guys on base.
Down to .195 RISP through the first 6 weeks of the season. Worst in MLB by far. Power numbers are strong, which is keeping them near the .500 mark. Just points out the lack of clutch hitting. HR or bust.
