Da Reds thread

Yes, I'm still thawing out. If any VN members are in the Cincinnati area tomorrow, I have an extra ticket for the game. Today was the second most uncomfortable day I've had at a sporting event. Only the January 1, 2001 Cotton Bowl was worse.

wheres the seat

Spring temperatures arent ever this cold by the way so you got the tickets for the worst weekend

BTW
Adam Dunn's homerun how was that?:dance2:
and
Could David Weathers be a true closer for the Reds this year?

1. Lower level, third base side. 2. I've been coming to Reds games for almost 30 years. Today was easily the worst weather I've experienced. 3. Xavier Nady should be credited with half of Dunn's home run. 4. If David Weathers could consistently close in the major leagues, he wouldn't have pitched for about 20 teams.

we should take bets to see when the reds will start there slide to third or fourth in the central. they seem to always start out tearing it up and usually in first place at the break and then it falls apart on them. hopefully they can keep it going for a whole season this year.

i just saw that on espn. Xavier Nady should fell like the biggest dumb ace in america today.

also part of an article about Eddie Guardado
Eddie Guardado, coming back from Tommy John elbow surgery late last season, threw 40 pitches off the mound Sunday, only fastballs at 50 to 60 percent, "And it's driving me crazy. I'm driving them crazy. It's tough mentally. I keep asking them when I can let it go — that's why it's tough mentally. In my mind, I'm ready to pitch. But they have a strict program and I have to follow it.
"I kept saying to myself all spring training, 'Don't let the season start, don't let the season start until I'm ready,' but it started and I'm not ready and it's killing me," he said. "All I can tell myself is that every day I get another day closer."
