Bronson is tough when his fastball is up at 90. He can go inside more then. So many angles and movements on his pitches. The guy just knows how to pitch. It's all about getting his rest now that he has built his strength back from the mono he caught last year. 2 down and 9 to go for the BRM.
My dad that passed away a few years back was a lifelong Reds fan as well. He and Mom lived in and around Middletown through the years. Brought me up in the Reds family starting with Crosley Field, Frank Robinson, Pete, and all the crew that followed through the years.
I almost went to this game with Cozarts dad and future step mom, but both of us couldn't be out of the office today so I guess his dad had first call...I would like to see the Reds win this series.
Man that was one ugly game. Good pitching by Homer and SF's guys. Dusty needs to sit Rolen. Frazier has earned the right to start at third. Ask the Braves about playing old guys at the hot corner.
The good news is that they usually bounce back quickly from ugly losses.
