something must be done. these losses are starting to take the wind completely out of the sails for any hope this year. i know the season is long, but nothing is going our way at all. a bit discouraging to say the least.

Bruce will be mashing from the clean up spot this evening. Cochran was dfa'd before ever throwing a pitch. Renieke (sp?) got the call to make the start.

Each and every time this team starts to get any momentum going, that piece of trash Masset comes along to kill it. Baker should be fired for continuing to run him out there.

No! The Reds have to much talent for them to fire Baker. As a Cards fan I hope u keep him for a few more years haha.

prior to today Masset had had gone 17 innings giving up 1 ER, 21 Ks, and 7 walks. he has had a couple of rough outings this season but he's certainly not been a piece of trash. Also, if you remember, he was pretty solid last season. The entire bullpen sucked today.

That said, it seems the pitching has failed too often this season. It's extremely frustrating. We also need to keep in mind how depleted the pitching is right now too. If they can get healthy they'll make a run at the division...but at this point I'm not getting my hopes up.

Masset has been really good in a lot of losses. He is right, dude apparently hates success
