Da Official NFL Draft Thread: Zoner Style

Disagree. Tomlin is an excellent head coach. He's not working out in Tennessee and they shouldn't take him.

I'm not questioning Tomlin's coaching ability. Defense is his forte'. He's a great well-known non-QB developing coach. Tomlin has VERY little impact on his QB as a coach.

Given this discussion, Bray has a better chance of having success as a Titan than he does as a Steeler. It wouldn't matter if Dave Clawson was the QB coach and OC in Nashville.

So you think he's going to do better behind that ****ty line with few quality skills players around him? When he can sit in Pitt behind Big Ben and learn for a few years? With a chance to play, because Ben can't healthy? Yah, I'll buy that.

Excellent pick by the 49ers.

Voxx is doing an excellent job of winning the argument I started.

Thanks. :hi:

Yes, Boxx. That is exactly what I think. Gonzo, you would like Kim Jong Un's posts if you guys were in agreement. Your opinion weighs lightly.

First of all - he stated the exact reason I would like the Steelers to draft Bray. Four years behind a two time Super Bowl winner is not a bad thing. That and the Steelers have to worry about when (not if) Roethlisberger gets hurt.

And I didn't like his posts. I stayed he was winning an argument I started. It made me laff.

Third - who cares. Bud Adams is crazy and does stupid **** all the time. If they had the number 1 overall pick in the 98 draft, they would have drafted Woodson.

Why can't he sit a while in Nashville? What's he going to learn behind Ben.....how to shrug off lineman because he's huge?

Modbock is right.

You don't count.

He's not going to be able to sit in Nashville. Titans are going to be terrible again most likely. Locker is going to get hurt, and then he'll have to play behind that terrible line with a lack of quality skill players. It will be bad for his confidence and development. Ben is a winner. I'm not sure if Batch is still there, but learning him would be valuable as well.

If he has to play for the Steelers, he'll have a decent line and play makers around him.
