Not keeping Pittman.

Meh.

I don't see how he can. He doesn't have time to teach his playbook and blocking system to a new coach who then has to teach new players. That would put him behind his rebuilding plan. I hope the new ol coach can go in, talk to the guys, explain why their well respected coach isn't there in the big picture, and ask them to give him a chance. Let them know he realizes what they have been through and why they would be upset.
If he handles it like that, all will be fine.

I think there is something to that meeting between Graham and Tee this week.

Hopefully, we hear good things about it soon.

Hopefully he can sell it that way as Pittman was well liked among those guys.

We have a very good O-Line coming back and I would hate to see this be the reason we take a step back.

I just know Pitt was really liked by the guys. Hopefully it works out like you say. I know it's just a part of the process, just sucks.

Hope this hire works out for us. But, I've already grown tired of reading about how he built programs up. Without reading a lot of article in depth, it looks like he took over some good programs from Kelly.

That's where I stand on it too.

I will say the cupboard is not bare on the hill right now though. No year "0" this time.

Agree on no year 0. That was bs the first time I heard it. If they want to do a year 0, then it should be written into the contract. We'll give you year 0 but there will be pay involved. We'll discuss pay and terms at the end of year 0. Sounds fair to me.

I could definitely live with a year 0 if the pay is based on the way year 0 plays out. Never would happen that way. But I could live with it.
