I wonder if Chavis will run a 6 man line like he did a little bit on Saturday vs ULL? This might help w/ the Arky rushing attack and get some pressure on the QB when they pass it.

If UT has any hope of beating them, they need to play man to man and stack the line.

I see a lot of man coverage coming. It might be a better risk with Arky to put our DB's out on an island and protect from the run.

Our best defense Saturday will be a balanced offense than can sustain drives and keep their O off the field.

heh... i say every play put 2 guys to cover monk and stack 10 on the line.

short of that, think we'll need to put 14 guys on defense and take a chance that the refs don't notice.

this game has the potential to be a blowout for either team... otherwise, i'm warming up for another 3 or 5 overtimes...

Monk will be licking his chops:yahoo:
Who's gonna throw him the ball? Unless McFadden lines up at qb the whole game, Monk will be running around Shields Watkins Field all afternoon getting a lot of useless exercise.

I bet Monk does nothing this game. Stupid troll.:alien:

you're the first person on this site to call me "stupid troll". I have never done anything (intentional) to make the Vols looks bad. I try to be unbiased as possible and provide ample reasons for my choice of words.

I dont get paid well enough to try and create a scheme to stop Jones & D Mac, so this what I would tell the the vols if I was The Chavis. Hit em hard and if that doesnt work then hit em harder.

With a healthy DMAC and Jones it will be a repeat of last year, maybe a higher scoring game given our corners inability to stop the run, but DMAC and Jones will make the big plays and kill the Tennessee defense.

this game is in Knoxville, not the trailer park also known as Fayetteville.

It is a true wonder how I got out of Fayetteville alive last year. We got in a lot of fights. I didn't know arky fans hated us that much. While some of the fans do suck, I wouldn't quite call it a trailer park. It's not a terrible town. But the game in Ktown should definetely give us an advantage of some sort.

Our defense is doomed for a long afternoon. Ainge and the offense has lacked "Southern Football Passion (SFP)" to lead the team to big time victories this year, except for the Georgia win. If UT is to be in the SEC Championship, then Ainge and the offense will have to lead the way. The defense is still learning how to win, so the offense must carry load. I want to have faith in the team, but I have not seen enough "SFP" for UT football this year from the offense or the defense.

The Hog has a point.

Don't be forgetting about Monk. He's cooked our secondary once already.

I'm sure Hefney's got our back tho, right?

i was bred, born and raised in east tennessee and a UT grad (forever a vol). i've been in arkansas for a good number of years. the fans over here are passionate, but civil, excepting the same small percentage of idiots found everywhere, even knoxville. i wore my orange and sat in my regular seat last year--the folks around still needle me about that. anyone who can dismiss n.w. arkansas as a 'trailer park' ought to get his head examined. it is beautiful in the way east tennessee was beautiful before it got over populated. i think that's why i love it here.
