Maybe like you said give him one assignment and tell him thats his responsibility nothing else but would that be considered only man coverage

Our entire secondary is being picked on - no need to single out Morley. They are all getting progressively worse. What began as a strength is quickly becoming another weak spot on D. Hopefully they'll regroup this week to finish strong.

If they didn't have to worry about coming up to stop the run (because our d-line can't) they might not be getting picked on as much.

I dont care what anyone says, Hefney and Wade have been solid. Morley and Stewart are just not playing...period. Morley will eventually grow up mentally, because thats whats hurting him. Stewart on the other hand, has no hope.

He has no hope, because UT's pathetic roster has no cornerback fit to play the position, resulting in our safety having to move to the position. Maybe if Morley were skilled enough to play the position he was recruited for, this wouldn't be a problem.

Wade was the main "target" on Saturday. He consistently got beat by a receiver nursing bruised ribs. And when I say beat, I mean beat - bad. He got turned around just about every pass play.

These guys are either getting tired late in the season or loosing their focus. Either way it's dissappointing. On the bright side, there is plenty of game film to study what NOT to do.

Bingo !!!

But I actually think that Morley will be all SEC his senior season, no one can doubt his talent he can be a playmaker. All he has to learn is how to play in the system. I think he will be fine.

yeah, it might be a good idea to have the corners come up and play man to man and let the safeties focus on run support. If the corners get burned they get burned. There seems to be less risk there then someone breaking off a big run.

Maybe let Wade and Morley focus stictly on playing cb, they are probably the 2 fastest guys back there. Let Hefney and Stewart focus on run support.

For one thing, it wouldnt have been any worse then what happened.

The only way he is overrated is by folowing and reading the message boards who pump him up. IMO he is just a sophomore going through the learning process. I think constructive criticism is good but the vicious attacks of him is unneccesary. Give the kid a break.


Were you calling him names when he ran back that int for atd against LSU.

If Jamarcus throws the ball to him, he should be expected to pick it off. That was the worst throw I've seen all season. Morley was the only player in the area.

I think the lack of QB pressure from the front four has put too much responsibility on our secondary for the most part this season. However, I see no excuse for losing a receiver as big as Monk in traffic.

I agree Lex. When there is little or no QB pressure, guys are going to get open in the SEC. DB's cant cover WR's forever.

Give me a break. If you can't tell he is constantly out of place, you must not be very football savvy. I'll be sure to remember the armchair qb remark the next time you offer an opinion about a football team.

Wait, wait, wait...What ever happend to Jarrod Parrish? He is still on the team but gets no playing time at all. Hes an upperclassman and had alot more last year. Not enough talent? Speed? Anyone know?
