Getting lots of balls his way and kudos from the commentators. Too bad he plays for the Raiders.

He's doing really well, and the commentators have said nothing but good things ... "He's been a training camp sensation" ... They even had him return a kickoff

Point being that it's tough for anyone to make a big splash when they play for such a dysfunctional organization. I, of course, wish him the best.

I agree. The thing that sucks is the fact that Al Davis and the Raider organization can actually say "I told you so", in reference to them saying Kiffin will destroy that program, or something like that.

Michaels has always given good attention to ex-Vols. He has always said something like "Joe Player is the (position) from Tennessee."

i guess not to risk injury, but really...I do like DD I will however reserve my opinion if we have problems getting people on and off the field this year

Then I guess you reserve judgement for every pro and college coach because it happens to every team, every year, and on multiple occasions.

well it cost us a lot last year, one year with that level of confusion is one thing but two years in a row is another. I realize that it happens to every team but most teams fix it when it counts.

I realize that, but when you have a jumbo set in and the O comes in with multiple wr's, you have to switch the D or you are a sitting duck. The ref didn't give the D proper time to sub, and only les would sub, accidently, that late in the play clock. The circumstances were not normal.

you have a good point, like many, that really frustrated me. I think overall DD is a good fit and is doing things right. I just really hope we can pull it together this year.
