The good Ole days are never quite as good as you remember. We could do worse, but I feel we should do better.

Nope. Cut isn’t coming and the boosters are probably going to try a real coaching search now. Don’t think they’re punting yet.

I agree with others that we probably will not hear anything for a few days, but I would expect some new names to start surfacing for our job.

Does anyone know if it was true that Fulmer was ok with Doeren?

Coach in waiting is never a good plan.

^This. Last two times it SEEMED to work was with Chip Kelly and Jimbo Fisher. Both of their predecessors were practically done and their ascension was theoretically ceremonial. Failed with James Franklin at Maryland...Muschamp at Texas and so on and so on...

Is it true that Tee isnt even a full OC at USC and doesnt call the plays? I definitely read that somewhere.

Franklin and Muschamp are horrible terrible dishonest examples you are using. Both were in waiting, but were hired away.....that's completely different...

It actually was working for both schools before they were hired away. Both were great plans and both schools had great success doing it, respectfully for each of their expectation level.

Oregon and FSU it worked wonders....

So, I say it works more than it doesn't....

On 104.5 they said he only called plays on 1st and 2nd downs. Passing coordinator called 3rd......

Seems messed up to me.......

Tee Martin is not YET qualified to lead a program like Tennessee. There has been so much damage left in the wake of Butch, Currie, Haslam, Davenport, etc., that I am not sure Nick Saben could save us now.

WRONG. Tee walked into a program that was battered by probation at arguably the best job in college football and arguably the best program and tradition in college sports.

Tee has done well and could rebuilt UT as well.
